ATTENTION TO DETAIL

In video game development, an "easter egg" is a secret hidden within the game that's usually not easy to find. With Ruffian's founder having such a long career in the video game industry (as well as some of the original Ruffian employees), we knew we wanted to include some easter eggs in our premium apparel line! We had a lot of fun working with Red X Thread on brainstorming these features. However, unlike in video games where it's up to the player to discover them, we're more than happy to point out the little touches that make this crewneck extra special.

At first glance, the embroidered "RUFFIAN" logo across the front of this crewneck looks pretty typical. But as soon as you shine a light on it (literally!), you'll find that the "FIA" has a reflective fabric stitched in, highlighting those letters brightly as a callout to the FIA Fastback we based the design of this article around. Likewise, the sewn-in shoulder and arm taping is also reflective, making it the perfect companion for safely navigating the early morning or late night car meets.

Zooming in along the bottom hem is an embroidered patch modeled after the build plates we install in every completed Ruffian project. You might also notice the 8 asymmetric grommets along the right sleeve. These represent the FIA Fastback's staggered velocity stacks that sit atop the 500hp, 364ci lightweight aluminum small block Shelby motor. 

In keeping with the classic styling, the back side of this crewneck is simple and refined. It has an embroidered "R" from the Ruffian logo and, as with all Red X Thread designs, you'll find their namesake red stitching along the back collar for a truly iconic look.
